I'm removing my old 3/4" hard wood floor in the living room. My entrance foyer had tile, which I removed. The tile was on top of 2 layers of 3/4 plywood. In order to lay a new 3/4 hard wood floor in the entire area, I need to remove one layer of sub-floor in the foyer and kitchen to get all area the same height.
What is the best way to cut the plywood sub-floor around the kitchen cabinets to get right next to the cabinent base? A circular saw, set to the height of the 1st layer of plywood, would leave a strip of plywood that still needs to be removed.
Are there any power tools that would cut flush to the cabinets and wall and small enough to get under the recessed cabinet kickboard.
