Brown, stinky "oil-based" chemical used to DISSOLVE silicone......takes an hour or more to work........scrape off the gooey/remaining caulking......clean-up with water and soap......It actually breaks down the silicone.........I used it on storefront windows to replace the butt-joined glass Try:
