Question #1. Would anyone know how many years stucco will maintain its integrity before it starts to deteriorate? I have a house about 55 years of age and am wondering how many years that stucco will last.

Too, where the old and new part of the house connect, cracks are starting to appear and looks like there is a thin veneer of some kind of coating that has begun to blister. Anyway, I've called several general contractors about sealing the crack. No one wants to take the job because it's considered a relatively small repair job. Well damn it, I don't care if it's a small repair job. The bottom line is that something has got to be done before the rains come.
