Stripping finishes

Hi, Sheila. When a finish is that old and has that many problems, it is usually best to just take off the old finish and start with new. There are many posts here and at about how to do this. The first step is to search this board by typing "control f" and following the instructions. Type in words like "stripping" "strippers" and "refinishing". There is a lot of info there and "Catherine in St. Pete" did the same thing and you can follow her progress on the other board. Let us know if you can not find the answer to your questions.
