Tired of hearing all the versions for repairing stress cracks in ceiling made of drywall.
Have a man upstairs now but I know for a fact he did not cut and gauge the crack, there is no dust/powder evidence! In minutes he patched it and went over it with compound. . what shall I do?
I was told by different painters that it needed to be gauged and plastered and dry before applying mesh tape then compounded. . or it will not hold.
Am I getting a poor quality job?
please advise how I should proceed with this painter!
THANKS EVER SO MUCH FOR BEING THERE GUYS!
