There is motar colors that will match your sandstone joints..the color I use here is called "light ocher" it matches the color of sandstone perfectly. There is a couple deferent mortars you can use; one is your triditional lime based morter...the other is type S high bond with lime already in it. There is many different concoctions out there. One more thing, the tool you apply your morter to the stone is called a different lenghts depending on the thickness of your joints. remember never seal your masonry wall...let it breath...or you'll be doing it again
