Stipple Painting

Posted by Sean on March 27th, 2003 01:29 PM

I am painting a babies room using a stipple brush to create a faux finish. I have painted on an off white base coat. The glaze coat is a baby blue color. I am using a stippling off technique. The problem I am having is that the glaze dries so fast I am ending up with dark lines between the areas that I am working. The glaze is made with one gallon of glaze and one quart of paint. Is there a way I can avoid the lines? Do I need to thin down the glaze mix?
