Steve,unless you have an army of friend's, to help you lift a 15 foot steel beam, at 33.lbs a foot or more.That's almost 500 lbs.Steel is sold by the pound.Not cheap.I would go with the wood beams.LVL-Laminated veneer lumber or micro-lam or gang-lam beams.Go to your local lumber yard,home depot etc.They will have all the info you need.
