The fastening principal or pattern is the same for metal or wood studs when it comes to attaching them to floors.

You will use either power actuated fasteners or pre-drill and apply Tapcon or similar concrete screws.

Insulation for basement wall framing is done the same way as for wall framing on 1st or 2nd floors.

The "problem" with metal studs is that you cannot use regular residential fiberglass batts because metal studs have spacing other than 15" or 23" on center.

You need to purchase commercial fiberglass batts which have spacing of ~18" or ~27" for metal framing distances.
