First of all the security is by far better with steel. The insulation is good also, because of the blown in foam between the layers of steel.

Its easy to drill your lock holes.

They come in all looks and panels, and grains.

If steel door obtains a ding, or dent, you can repair this easily with bondo, the car stuff. You know what happens to fiber with it is dinged. Look at the Corvettes.

I would recommend Steel any day.
