I just purchased a house built in 1923. The boiler is a converted coal unit. The problem i am
having is this: When the heat comes up (and this thing really cranks out the heat) i get bubbling, hissing, and hot water spewing from the valves, along with the hissing from the vents. Does anyone know what causes this? I know the valves can fail over time, but all of them?? Please help, all this steam and hot water is ruining my wood floors!!!!
