Hi, Wayne. You can buy milled treads at your home center. You can also buy oak boards for the risers. There are a lot of variations on how stringers, skirt boards and the like are installed but it is just basically cutting the treads and risers to size and nailing them in place. With oak, you will want to predrill for the nails.
