i just had a 70 x30 ranch style log home built approx.3 years ago and the flooring is very squeeky and noisy already. the basement is completely finished with dry-wall in the ceiling . my guess is something wasn't done correctly during construction? is there anything i can do to fix it without taring all the carpeting up? someone mentioned some type of tool that can fix it without taring up the carpet. the flooring material is 3/4 flakeboard. HELP !
