i still haven't figured out the source of the moisture. no unvented appliances, basement is finished rec. room. no moisture problem there. the mold is primarily in the bathroom on the walls but the base of the winow sills do get mold on them if i don't get the water cleaned off in time. i did discoverthe bathroom fan vent hose loose but no real moisture problem in the attic. what concerns me the most is mold on the walls in the bathroom. the dehumidifier is working well and i empty water from it all the time, it's in the basement. i'm not sure what other kind of info. you need but if i can supply it i will?? the old windows where very bad, the heat bill dropped $50.00 just in the first month alone. i have started leaving the bathroom windowed cracked for a few hours each day and that seems to have helped a little. any more suggestions? thanks scoot
