I bought some sound board material having been told it was the sane as Homasote, had it sut and put it on my windows tonite, no difference, I can still hear the traffic. I bought this house 4 years ago and have slept in my bedroom a half dozen times, I live in the den but my back can't take it anymore and I am ruining my new sofas, the the noise is intolerable, I put so much money into construction last year I had to stop at the windows. Ear plugs don't work either. What can I do, help?? The window measures 80 inches wide by 65 inches high. Thank you.
