Acoustical Solutions has a product that helps with both airborne and bass, vibrational and structural noises. It is called Green Glue. It a a very feasible product and installed with ease. It simply goes between (2) layers of drywall. You should insulate between your studs, apply the first layer of drywall and then add the damping compound to the second layer and then attach it to the first layer. If you are a handy person you can do this yourself because drywall is fairly cheap to purchase. We suggest using 5/8 thick.
