Hi, Dave. I had great results with Homasoat board. This is a sheet product made from ground up newspaper but because of its softness, compared to drywall, it worked well to stop the vibration. You would install it under the drywall and run it vertically so you can install the drywall horizontally on the wall. I'm sure they have a web site but I had to do some searching to find a distributor.

As far as fiberglass insulation, it really doesn't make any difference whether it is faced or not. Paper faced might help you in installation if you are doing it yourself but is not necessary.
