Personally, I can't say with certainty if your idea will work. Quite frankly, I'm not sure what 'fresh air' it is you're referring to. Outside fresh air or inside fresh air? Either way, I can't say for sure.

Your new home sounds real tight. You might need to consider a dehumidifier for the entire HVAC system, and not just a floor unit. Also, if you have plants, they too can give off a lot of unwanted moisture. And if the windows in question face direct sun, that part of the house really heats up, and when it cools down, the moisture condensates on the windows in reaction to the cold air outside. (That's a separate, last resort project; to install an over-hang.)
