Hi Robert,

There are a lot of questions about these houses these days. I have some leads but I can't tell you where they end up.

Try Sears Kit House Post from a short while ago. The follow-up has some info. Also, there is a book by John Wiley and Sons, "Houses by Mail", at 1 Wiley Dr., Somerset, NJ 08875, 1-800-225-5945, fax 1-800-597-3299. I also hear that if you contact the Sears Archive folks in Chicago, IL (whose phone # is in the book, and elsewhere I'm sure), and w/photos and details and descriptions, they can help too. And here is another interesting link that has other links too - Riverdale Sears Homes. And lastly, here's an article called You May Own A Sears Home.

Others may have more info if you watch your post for a few days. My best to ya and hope this helps.
