solid oak staircase cut and installed

In reply to old oak floors by Doug Smith on July 12th, 1999 12:52 PM [Go to top of thread]

The previous contractor developed Leukemia shortly after beginning a project replacing a solid oak staircase in a residential home that was damaged by fire. Only the bottom turn-around step was cut to fit. Two more steps (pie shape) need to be cut and assembled, then all other regular size steps and risers, hand rails, spindles, and side boards need to be cut, stained, finished, and installed. There is more. The top landing needs "Bruce" prestained hardwood also needs to be cut and installed.
The materials have all been purchased and are on hand. Light sanding is neccessary on some pieces.
Please help! I live 30 miles northwest of Chattanooga Tennessee.
