You need about a 1/4" slope per foot from the bottom of the closet bend to the sewer line.

If your sewer lines are above the floor then you need to install a properly vented sewage injector pump breaking up the floor for the pit and the pipe. Another alternative is to build a throne for the water closet to sit on or buy a premade throne with a pump and pit which is also called a quick jon.
