Hi Ethan, I have a couple porches on my 107 year old Queen Anne that are slippery. I haven't done it yet but I'm planning to do the same thing we did when I was on a destroyer in the Navy. You tape off an area most walked in and put a thick coat of paint down. Before it dries sprinkle sand-blasters sand over it and let it dry. When dry, sweep of the excess and cover with another coat of paint. You can repeat if necessary. Pull the masking tape up and your ready. The bad part of this is that it probably collects dirt but I plan to use a power washer on the rest of the porches anyway. I lasted a long time on the ship that got more traffic than I expect my porch to get.
