Try an elastomeric caulking like DAP 230 around the perimeter to keep the linoleum from sliding. The elastomeric will expand and contract to accomodate temperature fluctuations. Use masking tape to get a nice appearance with the caulk. You can fill imperfections in the subfloor with Fixall. Prime the fixall or heat it with a propane torch or heat gun if patches are larger than a few inches square or are under linoleum seams. This will help linoleum stick to Fixall.
