I'M LOOKING AT PURCHASING A 1200 SQ FT SINGLE LEVEL HOME THAT WAS BUILT IN 2000 IN OHIO WITH VERY COLD WINTERS. IT IS ON A SLAB FOUNDATION. I'M AFRAID THAT THE SLAB WON'T BE SUFFICIENT ENOUGH FOR THE WEATHER. CAN YOU BUILD A BASEMENT UNDER THE SLAB WITH NO CRAWL SPACE? DO YOU FEEL THAT THIS WOULD BE BE A COSTLY EXTERIOR FLOOR INSULATION? COULD YOU GIVE ME A GOOD IDEA OF THE COST INVOLVED & ANY POTENTIAL HAZARDS? THANK YOU
