Sistering joist into foundation

I have a 120 year old house where some of the original
joist have rotted where they go into the foundation.
I understand that for sistering I should use the same
size wood, carrage bolts, and a small spacer between
the old and new beam.
What I need help with is
1. Can I just use a simple PT board from the home store,
or do I need to order a special type of wood?
2. How should I mount the new board into the
