In all seriousness, you're talking about a very hazardous material. One that has resulted in death and endless lawsuits. As far as I know, it's only to be removed by a LICENSED professional. It won't cost you a dime to have someone estimate the job for you. And at the same time, the Contractor can 'describe' what's involved. They wear special suits and respirators. Plus, they dispose of the asbestos in the proper manner.
