Shower Tile

Posted by Tim and Deb on July 11th, 1998 07:35 PM

We purchased a new house 2 years ago. The master shower is white tile with white grout. The workers used this shower for a garbage area thru the building process, so the grout is not as white on the bottom of the shower and about 1/4 the way up the sides of the shower(it is all tile and grout) as the rest that was not effected by the water and junk that was left in the shower for 7 months. We are thinking about removing the grout and regrouting the bottom and up the sides about 1/4 of the way. I believe the white grout will blend in. Is there a grout that will resist the staining and mildew better than others? Is there an easy way to remove the old grout? We would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks Deb and Tim
