Gina, I'm doing the same thing at the moment. I've run into a problem on that I'm hoping someone here could advise me. I've got two different lines of caulking all along the rails on the tile walls of the tub. The top layer (the most recently applied) is soft and easily removed. The bottom layer is solid white and hard as rock. I've already damaged the tiles underneath by pulling the rails off. Now I need to scrape off the protruding caulking to smooth out the surface as much as possible. Anyone know if there's any better way of removing this stuff than chisling it off?
