You can remove the doors by lifting them out of the track. There might be a piece at the bottom of the door that has to be removed first. Then remove the top rail and the side rails. There will be holes left in the walls where the screws were. Fill these with a little tub and tile caulk, as long as you don't mind the little cosmetic defects. The rail at the tub itself is usually held in place with chaulking. Once you remove all the tracks there will be chaulk residue to scrape off. If you have a fiberglass tub be carefull not to scratch it when your trying to scrape the chaulk off. If you have a colored tub you may find the color under the rail has not faded the same as the rest of the tub. Just some things to consider....
