Most of these were veneer, as you probably know. You do want to limit water exposure all possible. You can bleach out stain colors but it can be a long and involved process and does require the use of a lot of water. If you are sure that the color you want to remove actually is a stain color and not dirt or a colored finish, I would still try to avoid dye color bleaching.

That said, if you want to go ahead, I can tell you how to do it. Since you will may to buy enough of one chemical to do a deck,it may not be inexpensive. The other chemicals are common household items. Let me know if you are going to proceed.
