The cost of the sewage ejector pump is around 350.00 the cost of the basin about 75.00. Although you could use the pump on the washer for short distances, for long distances it won't work. The pumps arent designed to lift the water too far. The horse power is very low, it can move water fast at its own elevation, but to lift it up to any height, is a problem. If you dont have plumbing in the basement at a close elevation, a sewage ejector is the solution. It will always depend on the location of the existing drains. If its clear across the basement, and you dont have enough pitch below the ground theres probably nothing you can do. I would suggest a second opinion. I dont like to use sewage ejectors unless they are the only option. A sewage pump has a 5 to 10 year lifespan under heavy load.
Good Luck
