Septic Alarm

Posted by David Masher on October 4th, 2002 09:07 AM

Yes, Im asking a question, septic systems are not the speciality around here ;-) Plus you guys and gals are faster (and cheaper) than most plumbers I know.

So we had a new 1500 gl pump system intalled 6 years ago. The tank is both holding and pumping with a partial wall seperating the two. Yesterday the alarm went off (not sue if is was high or low water alarm). I switched to manual and heard the pump go on and it actually sounded like it emptied. The alarm is still on. So my guess is that the float is stuck in an, especailly to my dog, "alarming" position (yes I did hit the silencer). Any thoughts, tricks or ideas. It seems In my planning of a patio I used the original blue print not the "as built". So if I must do anything but the yearly pumping, I'll be back in the hardscape business again ;-)

Thanks in advance!
