OK, I have some self-adhesive vinyl tile I want to lay in a bathroom. The directions say placing it over 'particle board' will void the warrenty. I don't care about the warrenty, but I don't want the tiles to release after the first week - Will a suitable primer over the OSB subfloor (1991 construction)work, or would an adhesive trowled on during tile installation be better? Anybody have any suggestions? A plywood overlay makes this project a miserable, expensive, inconvenience - Oh, wait - Homeownership is a miserable, expensive inconvenience... that's why we Love it... Nevermind. Seriously, anyone have any ideas?
