question ... replacing a seawall...recommendation by contractor is that he crush up the cement and dig out the dirt and place all the crushed cement on bottom behind seawall alla long back of seawall. claims the water can flow in and out without having all the pressure from wet dirt on the back of wall. in front of wall he will place some of the broken cement to help with the breaking of waves etc. good idea? please respond.
