We have been living in a Sears kit home for 3 years now and are in the middle of redecorating it. We found on the wall in the upstairs a piece of newspaper that has the date 1886. We also found a creamery stub that is dated 12-1924. This house is sound and has never had eletricity or running water plumbed to it. It is so nice. The porch is no longer attached. So we will rebuild it and we are planning on keeping the interior in the early 1900's. We are doing some research on all the owners of this house and hope to locate some pictures of it in the early stages. It is located in Arkansas. We would like to know of anyone else in Arkansas who lives in one. There is 4 in this town we live in.
