Jim and I bought our Sears house nearly a year ago. Prior to that time neither of us had ever heard of a Sears house. Interestingly to us is the fact that we own one of 7 Sears houses in our Kentucky city of Henderson. ( One is owned by our former Mayor ). Currently we are in the process of repapering the large front room and stairway. We are trying to keep in mind the age of the house ( 1920's or 30's )as we try to date the new cosmetics and furnishings. We would greatly appreciate any information you may have regarding the historic wonderfulness of our 'new' home. We'll gladly offer more detailed information if needed. Thanks.
