Sanding flooring

Scott, the normal way to handle this is to put a well used sanding screen under your buffer and use it's circular motion to swirl away the longitudinal scratches from the drum sander. Then by going to a finer paper on the edger, you should be able to make what swirls remain kind of blend in with the swirls from the edger without much more work.
