I have a home with painted interior wooden beams and ceilings. I would like to have the paint removed and have been advised by friends that it can be sandblasted. I was under the impression that sandblasting exterior wood would cause it to deteriorate over time and is not a good idea(I think I heard this on *** ****'s Home improvement show). I'm not sure if this applies to interior wood. Can you advise me on whether sandblasting interior wood is a good idea. If so, what type of sandblasting is best (i.e. wet/dry). If not, can you advise me on a better way to have the paint removed.
