Sagging Floors

Posted by KEN on September 12th, 2000 07:54 AM

My house was built sometime in the early 1900's,and the floors were sagging.I had the foundation inspected by a pro and was told that it was solid.I then dug pilings/footers under the floor in the crawlspace and filled with gravel and concrete,i then added block pillars and 4x6 beams to keep the floor from sagging any further(it hasn't moved in 4 years). My situation now is what do I do to level the floor from the top side without using expensive floor leveler since some spots will exceed the recommendations from the manufacturer.Any good ideas out there.
