if the receptacle boxes stick out from the studs...usually 1/2" to match up to the finished wall thickness the rotozip tool will provide a very simple solution...if the boxes stick past the studs you will want to measure out there locations and write them down somewhere...then you hang your wallboard over them and tack it in mark out where the center of the box you will use a rotozip w/ a GUIDEPOINT bit to cut into the center of the box then cut over to the side of the box...when you feel the tool hit the edge of the box you need to take it out of the drywall and move it over past the side of the you can use the box itself as a guide following it all the way around the box giving you a nice clean cut...

this will only work w/ a guidepoint bit...this type of bid has no cutting edge on the first 1/8" of the bit
