I just bought a house with asbestos roof shingles that need to be replaced, according to the home inspector whosaid that they were cracked and defective. The roof was done 5 years ago.
I have heard that the company [companies] that made these defective shingleshas to make good on them.
Is it true that because these shingles were immediatelyfound to be defective [by the government? consumer protectionagency?] that they would replace them?
How do I find out more information. What do I need to doto get the process started to get some sort of compensa-tion?
