I had the same experience with the paint. It looked beautiful on the color swatch, but each coat we applied to try to fix the previous coat just got worse. Because we had used a red color, I knew repairing the damage would be hard, so I customized the paint by wetting a sea sponge with clear glaze mixed with the paint and blended all the streaks. It actually turned out very well and it became one of my facorite walls! It wasn't a solid presentation like it was intended, but the bright side was that it looked more custom.
