I just did my dining room with red & dark burgundy over top. I tried using RL paint and it did not work. They said to use semi-gloss as the base; don't! I used satin base and top coat, cheapest brands out there and the cheapest stippling brush I could find; I did use RL technique tho. It looks awesome!
