After a couple days of high humidity in a finished basement, mold grows. This makes the space unuseable and a threat to your health. ASAP wet vac and get several box fans and enough dehumidifier capacity to maintain <50%RH. Suggest a couple commercial dehumidifiers like Phoenix. You can rent equipment.
