I want to restain my oak kitchen cabinets. I tried one of the doors first. After cleaning, sanding and cleaning again I applied Minwax. I applied two coats of Minwax Wood Finish, dark walnut. I let the door dry all night but in the morning I found it was still tacky. The cabinets had been stained originally and I used a stain that is the same shade or slightly darker than the original. Even after a full day the door is still rather tacky, what can I do?
