Every once in a while you will need to run a bathtub with bleach in it. This will kill off any growth inside the whirlpool piping. Make sure you turn on the jets so the bleach gets inside the piping behind the walls. If a tub sits for too long with the piping, algae and other molds will grow inside the piping.
