> Reprogramming a a Sears Garage Door Opener GDO by Handyman on 08/22/2006

enter your original PIN number
press and hold '#'
the opener light will blink twice.
release the '#' button
enter the new PIN number
press enter
the opener lights will blink once when new PIN is learned.

Test by entering new PIN the ENTER

Extra:
if you have the same keypad I do ( Chamberlain LiftMaster Professional) then you can set up a temp PIN for visitors:

enter your current PIN
press and hold '*'
opener light will blink three times
release the '*' button
enter the TEMPORARY PIN number (4digits)
opener light will blink 4 times
TO SET NUM HOURS TEMP PIN WORKS
enter number hours (0-255) then
press '*'
TO SET NUM TIMES TEMP PIN WORKS
enter number presses/times (0-255) then
press '#'

lihgt will blink once

you can test but if you set for num times (let's say 1 time) and you test it will subtract that so then you would have 0 left and it will not work.
