Replacing two kitchen ceiling fixtures with three-way switching

I was forced to replace my kitchen ceiling, which took some time. I have purchased new lighting fixtures, and it has been so long, I don't remember which wire goes where.
The wall switches are untouched, and are three way, either one used to turn lights on or off, regardless of toggle position.
One fixture has two black wires, two white wires, and one red. My Simpson meter tells me the red goes between the light fixtures. But I can't figure out the rest.
My second fixture has three blacks, three whites, and the lone red. The new fixture came with a litle ground wire for the big deal there.
Anyone want to help with a guess?
Right now, I have two pig tails to try any combo you can come up with.
Sounds dangerous, but don't worry, just take a shot...VBG
