Replacing subfloor in bath

Posted by Rich on April 6th, 2001 09:32 AM

I've recently gutted a second bathroom, which will eventually become my personal bathroom (the wife and 2 girls can have the other, larger one...I got mine!)
I've removed the old, rotten subfloor and am down to the joists. I'll be going for tile, since hardwood flooring in a bathroom isn't the best idea...
What type of wood should I use for the subfloor, and
should I go with 1/4 or 1/2 inch wonderboard above the new subfloor?.
