replace it

In reply to Polybutylene plumbing - leave it alone or replace it ASAP? by Kevin on April 5th, 2003 08:18 PM [Go to top of thread]

In my experience after just a few years it will start leaking lots of times like small pin holes that are hard to notice or hear till the damage is done. After fighting leaks for way too long I finally replace it all. It is flustrating to crawl under your house twice a week to fix leaks afer you already worked all day.

If you decide to let it go, stock up on fittings as it doubles the flustration going to ths store or waiting till the next day for a store to open.

Just my two cents worth but check out the rest of the home really good to make sure they didn't use more building cost savings.
